Kinesiology
Kinesiology - Simple change in a complex world.Kinesiologists use muscle testing as a feedback system from the body and energy systems. Gentle pressure is used to test for a positive and negative muscle response. This muscle change is used by Kinesiologists as a tool of communication that can give clear messages to both client and therapist.
Muscle testing bypasses the logical or conscious mind, and reveals information available from the deeper aspect of the sub-conscious and unconscious as well as from the body itself.
Our bodies and emotions are doing their best to communicate with us – uncomfortable symptoms that won’t go away such as aches and pains, ongoing illness or other irritating conditions, depression, anxiety, emotional and relationship problems, feelings of inadequacy and many others can be the indication of us being out of step – out of step with what our lives could be.
Kinesiology’s muscle testing gives us a way of checking what is happening in the body and subtle energy, as well as in the nutritional and emotional systems. Using this as a tracking tool we can discover the reasons for the problems or symptoms, how the body is handling this and what can be done to change this state of affairs, in line with what the person wants.
Once the cause of the problem is found a combination of gentle techniques are used to enable the system to heal and promote more effective functioning.
Each session is unique just as each person is unique, muscle-testing enables the client to be totally in charge at all times. All information comes from the body and all treatments are determined via muscle-testing.
Many of our problems begin in childhood; all of us develop a set of beliefs about life from our early experiences. Loss, unwanted change, accidents and trauma, difficult people and experiences all shape the people we become. As a child we can’t necessarily make sense of our experiences and the way most of us cope is by building defences that may no longer be helpful when the crisis has passed. These defences get stuck in the body, in our posture, in patterns of behaviour, in emotional reactions and the way we think about ourselves and about the world. As we grow older we react over and over again in the way we did in our early years. We may even make the same mistakes many times and wonder why. When our lives don’t seem to work out, the reason may well be that we have not yet released the hold that our past has over us. This is when the old survival patterns hang on, still attempting to look after us, but not actually serving us any longer.
By releasing the emotional and physical stress associated with our life experiences (whatever they are) we can be freed from the effects of the past allowing the body, mind and energy systems to find a new zest for life and full potential and giving us the choice to change. Ultimately by addressing our problems as they emerge we can change our lives to become more in line with how we would like it to be.
Sometimes family or ancestral issues may contribute to the problem and if it's appropriate age recession can be used to go back to conception and down the ancestral line.
Ultimately the tracking tool of muscle testing can be used to check out anything, though always with the caveat that this is only done when it is appropriate for the person, is in their best interests and permission is given. A strong code of ethics is in place for this work.
